![]() This I2C 16x2 Arduino LCD Screen is using an I2C communication interface. The library allows to control I2C displays with functions extremely similar to LiquidCrystal library. A Liquid crystal display is a form of visual display used in electronic devices, in which a layer of a liquid crystal is sandwiched between two transparent electrodes not gonna bore you with details but just watch the video to learn how to hook up basic-generic 16x2 liquid crystal display (i2c bus module version) with an arduino. With the support of the Arduino I2C_LCD library, the realization of the character display function will become very simple, just a line of program needed. PIC MCU is connected (SCL, SDA pins) to 24c02 EEPROM. The easiest way to program this 16×2 I2C LCD display in Python is by using a dedicated library. A potentiometer is also included to adjust the display contrast.
